Monday's Mama Drama - Lady Di is ditching.

Well Lady Di has ditched us again. She says that she has a good excuse. Something about not getting home until 1 am. Whatever! I know she was just drinking Mai Tai's watching the football game and forgot all about us.

So my drama isn't all that exciting this week.

1. It's snowing (which means I am stuck inside again)
2. I caught a stinky virus that makes me feel like I got hit by a truck.
3. My two year old (who is potty trained) refuses to take herself to the bathroom but instead she will just stand in front of the toilet yelling, Mooooommmmmmmmyyyyyyyyyyyy, Pooooooooooooooottttttttyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy and wet herself.
4. My four year old is saying things like: "if you won't let me, I will cry", "you DON'T want to make me sad", or (this one is nice) "for God's sakes". Honestly I have no idea where she got that from. I don't say that.
5. Then the hubs (who KNOWS I am mindful of what goes in my kids mouths. I try really hard) brings home a case of a drink with the ingredients list as follows: water, high fructose corn syrup, and 2% or LESS of the following juice concentrate: tangerine, orange, grapes. ARE YOU KIDDING! Plus it had 230 mg of sodium. SODIUM. STAB me why don't you. He says, "I had NO idea!"

Ok so that is it. I ask you, What is your drama? I am also asking you this ( I need advice):

4 weeks ago I took my new neighbor cinnamon rolls in one of my cake pans and she hasn't returned it. What should I do? I need it.

I haven't had neighbors in over 8 years.

I would march over there and get it back, but I hate it when other people have my stuff.

One drink every once in a while won't hurt! Sorry that you are sick, hope you feel better soon.

I think I would ask for my cake pan back...she probably thought that you gave it to her along with the cinnamon rolls. Have you since seen your neighbor ...maybe she has it and just haven't seen you out since you guys are getting so much snow!

Hi Amy!

I hope you're feeling better. Too funny about the drink. I so see him doing that too. Probably thought to sugar them up and leave them you. :)

How nice of you to make your neighbor rolls! Be my neighbor any time! lol Why don't you call her up and ask if she liked them and offer the recipe. Easy way to slid into the topic of "hello, I want my pan back." :) I've started buying either the gladware or a simple platter at the $1 store. That way, I don't have to worry.

She probably just forgot. But seriously, . . . I'd take some anytime! ((hugs!)) Sheesh! I still remember your stuffing! Oh-la-la!

OH Hope you are feeling better soon!
I'm the girl who would call the neighbour and say I have to make those Cin Buns for the Hubs, he won't let up, would it be better for me to pop by today or tomorrow and get that pan!
(I embrace my passive aggressive side)

Hope your week is improving. I have no neighbors...so don't really know how to handle the pan. Awkward.
My drama? Snow day today...the second one to make up at the end of an already long school year. And tomorrow isn't looking good either...

High fructose corn syrup is the devil.

Feel better soon.

To have a safe place where you can air all your mama drama without judgement, cause we know you don't always have the kids in bed by 7 and make creme brulee for dessert every night.

Oh yeah.........

and if you do, you're on the wrong blog!
